However, performance and potential are definitely not two sides of the same coin. Failure to make clear distinctions between these can also have fatal consequences.Reward is essentially pay in various forms, but there are also non-financial rewards. The author shows the scope and limits of reward strategies, pay systems, bonuses, variable pay, and financial participation.It is not the most complex systems that are the most effective ones.
