Defining what makes a classic car isn't easy. With over a century of designs to choose from, it's tempting to apply the term "classic" indiscriminately, in reference to any vehicle that is no longer in production. But for a car to be considered a true classic, its design must stand the test of time. It must have a style or engineering facet that moves the motor industry forward, and be remembered for introducing something to the world of motoring that wasn't there before it existed.
